We provide resources and tools to support information-sharing and self-advocacy.

The Alliance aims to build a coordinated response to systemic barriers and issues, raise public awareness, and advocate for change to policies that create social, economic, legal, and political inequities. Along with several submissions to public consultations, we have developed communication tools to support advocates and service providers in sharing information with a range of stakeholders. Tools can be used as background information or in tailoring communications to support education and self-advocacy for organizations and community members.

Policy Communication Toolkits

Policy Communication Toolkits for each of the policy position statements include the official Policy Position Statement, Briefing Notes, a Slide Deck summarizing the policy position, and an Asset Mapping Tool with website listings of advocacy groups, service providers, and media.

National and regional submissions

National and regional submission are tailored versions of the Policy Position Statements that the Alliance has created to participate in public consultations and studies led by government agencies and public institutions such as the Standing Committee on Women’s Health, the Canada Border Services Agency and the Office of the Minster of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
